This is my first road bike and I'm having a blast. I have about 700 miles on the bike and the components are holding up well. I replaced the stock seat with a Selle and put Look pedals on it, but otherwise it's pretty standard. It eats up the miles, climbs easily, cruises with little effort and tears down hills. I generally ride 20 to 25 miles at a time for exercise and fun. A terrific entry-level bike that will allow you to keep up with the biking geeks.
